In the Local Area
This secret hotel is right at the center of the Clerkenwell, right between West End and the City of London (the central business district), so you can get the best of both worlds. If and when you choose to leave the hotel, you can visit the West End and maybe even go see a play.
If you would like to take a brisk 10 minute walk, then do so and you will arrive at London’s most modern and famous museum, the Tate Modern where you can admire works by Dali (they have the world famous Lobster Telephone), Picasso, Duchamp and Pollock.
Even closer to the hotel than the Tate Modern is the Bank of England, so if you’ve got a day off, you should pop into the City of London for a look at one of the most modern city centers in the world.
If you’d like to use the metro, you should know that the nearest station is the Farringdon or if you are a more private person, the hotel can arrange for a car to meet you at the airport.
